Test your ADSL / HSPA service speeds HERE


Please note that the results that you obtain from above speed test servers are merely an indication / guide and is not a definitive indicator of your service speed. Make sure you select the most appropriate test server closer to you for more accurate speed test results. Exetel will need results at least three random tests both on peak and off-peak before we carry out the investigations.

Before Conducting the Speed Tests;

  1. If you have multiple computers at home, make sure only one computer is connected to your modem/router.

  2. Ensure that you do not have any other programs running on your computer while you do the tests. This includes programs such as any firewalls, anti-virus software, Email clients, Instant Messenger programs such as ICQ, MSN, AIM etc, file sharing/peer to peer (p2p) such as Limewire, uTorrent, BitTorrent etc…, games, FTP, Video streaming, VoIP, and anything else that may access the internet while the tests are running.

  3. Power off your modem and computer for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Power your modem on first, followed by the computer.

  5. Click the respective speed test links above to start testing. After the test is completed, please wait until the results displayed and once done, copy the results and send them to residentialsupport@exetel.com.au along with the following information enabling us to investigate your slow speed issue effectively.
