Residential Telephone Services
Exetel currently has 3 traditional landline telephone service offerings, sometimes referred to as 'plain old telephone service' or POTS. These telephone services are delivered over the public switched telephone network (PSTN). Two telephone service offerings provide the full telephone service, including line rental and Exetel bills you both for calls and monthly line rental.

In early 2010, Telstra commenced billing in 60 second (one minute) increments.
This has the effect of increasing the cost of calls.

The ADSL service, the Telephone Line Rental and call service are separate components.
The Exetel Telephone Only Plan can be used/bundled with your current ADSL service from your existing provider. You can also choose to bundle the Exetel Telephone with an Exetel ADSL service (from our Wide Coverage ADSL1 & ADSL2+ Plan options that can be found here or AAPT ADSL2+ plans that can be found here ).
The telephone call costs for both these options are highlighted below. These prices should provide you with considerable savings compared to your current telephone costs.

New Install Line Connection Charges
If there is no existing connection or previously vacated premises have had the line disconnected, you will need a new connection at the premises.
You may install a new line at the premise with Exetel at these connection charges.
